This should be my last post before I go back to indo for 2 weeks! (4 days in Batam, having a camp ^^)
Okay. Where would I start?..
Today… I was planning to pack up in the morning. But a plan was just a plan. Haha. Amel came here to give back the projector n the traveling bag, then we went to West Mal to buy lunch. Then she came back to 120 (where I live) just to read Conan 47 and Legenda Naga 37. ^^; She even sacrificed her “boker” (sh*tting) time just to read Legenda Naga 37. He he he. We exchanged some weird things and weird “tips”. ^^
Then,.. I actually forgot what I did. Oh, I read The Case For A Creator. (see the last post) But sadly, I did not manage to finish the summary for the first chapter. Shall post it 2 weeks later ^^. Then I spent my day grumbling and wasting time. (errr which means?) And do some packing ^^.
Haiz. I still feel a bit weird. Maybe I should write out some thoughts here.
on Two-timing and Relationship. by Amateur Ditz, For All Amateurs in the world.
1. I find it’s really indecent to be a two-timer. Although I’m in a win-win situation (not a win-lose situation), I would feel that I’m really selfish, clinging to both, yet, in the end, I will hurt one of them. Anyway, before I even think of becoming one, another point is…2. I find that by “securing” ur relationship with someone, i.e. being attached to some ppl, you are supposed to give this thing called “commitment”
3. I am not against people who show their feelings to attached girls/guys. I believe that I have no right over other’s feeling, I could not force someone to love or not to love some other people. But, I, myself, will keep a distance, IF I’m in the situation (IF I’m the one being attached and chased in the same time).
4. Think about the motivation of you having a relationship. Why? Why would you choose that guy/girl? So, is this motivation easily shattered when you see someone “better”, or when you see someone “offering better” than what u have now?
Why these things pop into my mind recently? I am not sure why.
BTW! This the first bouquet that I’ve received from the guy ^^ well well well. I have the pic. Will post later.
******SPACE FOR THE PICTURE******
Beautifuuull!! 6 Champagne Roses, Baby’s Breath ^^ (jd suka bunga ini krn Gie2), sama some flowers which look like papers ^^ Thank u..
Happy, although, (again) we had some conflicts after that. Reconciliation after that. I think I’m cool with it now. (really?) hi hi hi I love the flower… I _____(what is the English for “sayang”? –Love seems such a big word.. =P) you more.
^^ I could not keep staring at the bouquet. But why you chose THIS VERY LAST DAY to give me the bouquet? hiks. Should I bring it back to indo? Should I appear in the camp with this big bouquet? … how..?
The Case For A Creator — Introduction
May 30, 2007

I’m not a science person, but I’m just interested in Darwin’s theory of evolution. When it was first released, many people do not believe anymore in Creation. Even until now, people doubt the first chapter of the Bible, because of this theory. So, I was curious, and in March 2006, I bought this book, The Case For a Creator by Lee Stroebel. And funnily, I only finished 2 chapters of it, in 1 year+. ^^;
Lee Stroebel, educated at Yale Law School, was the award winning legal director of the Chicago Tribune and a spiritual skeptic until 1981. Lee Stroebel was a skeptic, trying to prove Christianity wrong. His wife is a Christian, and he was brought up in a Christian background, too. His skepticism was partly supported by Darwin’s theory, which he learned in primary school. (Remember those images of similar embryos of bird, mammals and human? Those which show we come from a lineage?)
The summary of the book (taken from the back of the book): Credits goes to the author
During his academic years, Lee Stroebel became convinced that God was outmoded, a belief that colored his ensuing career as an award-winning journalist at the Chicago Tribune. Science had mande the idea of a Creator irrelevant — or so Stroebel thought.
But today science is pointing in a different direction. In recent years, a diverse and impressive body of research has increasingly supported the conclusion that the universe was intelligently designed. At the same time, Darwinism has faltered in the face of concrete facts and hard reason.
Has science discovered God? At the very least, it’s giving faith an immense boost as new findings emerge about the iincredible complexity of our universe. Join Stroebel as he examines the theories that once led him away from God. Through his compelling account, you’ll encounter the mind-stretching discoveries from cosmology, cellular biology, DNA research, astronomy, physics, and human consciousness that present astonishing evidence in The Case For A Creator.
I just want to share my reading and findings here. ^^ *and by doing so, I’m doing my homework for KTB too* hehe. It will be a bit slow, though ^^
In this book, Stroebel takes a very neutral stand. It’s not a radical Christian book, those which quotes Bible (which credibility u might question too). Anyway, do buy and read. It’s interesting, purely logical thinking n increase your knowledge. (Blimey, this comes from someone who just read 2 chapters of the book. I’m a fans of Stroebel though. ^^ I adore someone who could write in a neutral tone)
To end the introduction, I would like to quote from our father of science:
- Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.
- Albert Einstein, “Science, Philosophy and Religion: a Symposium”, 1941
US (German-born) physicist (1879 – 1955)
Since I have mentioned the good stuffs about this book (& Stroebel), just take a look at the critiques.
1. Critiques that the book is not fair, it points out to Christianity
2. Critiques that lots of the things in the book are not correct
3. Critiques that Stroebel missed out to include Bible
I hope it’s fair enough ^^ And oh.. anything I post under this category, I purely take from the book, and references which I know of. I could not provide any scientific result or whatever it is. I’m not a scientist.. ^^
